What Mizan Does

Mizan analyzes the text you provide (employment contracts, questions about UAE labor law) by retrieving relevant articles from indexed UAE labor-law documents and asking a large language model to summarize, classify, or evaluate that text against those articles. The output may include compliance verdicts, citations, severity indicators, and estimated fine ranges.

What Mizan Is Not

  • Not a law firm. Sefarai FZC LLC is a technology company. It is not registered to practise law in any jurisdiction.
  • Not a lawyer. Using Mizan does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
  • Not legal advice. The output is informational guidance for screening purposes only.
  • Not a substitute for due diligence. Compliance decisions require human judgement, current case law, and context that the AI does not have.

Known Limitations

  • The indexed corpus is a snapshot — laws and ministerial decisions may have changed since indexing.
  • The AI model may produce confidently worded output that is factually wrong ("hallucination").
  • Citations are best-effort; verify each citation against the underlying source before relying on it.
  • Estimated fine amounts are extracted from indexed articles and may not reflect the latest enforcement practice or case-by-case discretion of UAE authorities.
  • The Service does not capture employer–employee context that a competent lawyer would weigh, such as industry sector, contract negotiation history, or precedent.

For any decision that has legal, financial, or employment consequences, consult a qualified UAE employment lawyer who can review the specific facts and the most current law. Mizan is intended to accelerate the screening step — not to replace the lawyer.
